Why learn the names of Allah?

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred less one; whoever learns them (ahsaha) will enter Paradise” (Bukhari and Muslim). Learning the names is more than memorisation — it means understanding them, calling upon Allah by them in dua, and living their meanings: showing mercy because He is Ar-Rahman, being generous because He is Al-Karim.
