Who we are

TheBRB.uk (“we”, “us”) provides prayer times, Islamic tools and articles for users in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what data we process and why, in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data we collect

• No accounts, no forms: the site does not require registration and our tools (prayer times, zakat calculator) run entirely in your browser — the figures you enter are never sent to our servers.
• Location: if you tap “use my location” on the qibla finder, your coordinates are used on-device only and are not transmitted or stored.
• Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) processes IP addresses and request data as strictly necessary to serve and secure the website.

Advertising and cookies

We may display advertising (for example Google AdSense) to keep the site free. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, including personalised ads where you have consented. Where required, a consent banner will let you accept or reject non-essential cookies before any are set, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also opt out of personalised advertising via Google's Ads Settings and youronlinechoices.com.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, we use privacy-respecting, aggregated measurement to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell personal data.
